Finally I’m here writing about the 20-4-2019! Sorry it took so long for this post to come up on the blog but the last couple of months have been just manic at work and my brain wasn’t in the right set for blogging! 😬
I had the most beautiful day ever for a long time.
Being a business woman, working six days a week - sometimes seven - I don’t get to spend much quality time with my family.
I miss out on weekends and in the evening I often have to reply to client’s messages. I usually regret taking time off in this season, as it’s the busiest season of the year for me at work. But having to work Good Friday, Easter and Easter Monday, I decided to take off the Saturday in between and it happened that that day was my birthday!
And what a decision! I couldn’t have chosen a better day. The sun was shining. The sky was of a perfect blue, no clouds. Just perfect. Happiness in the air, lots of energy and positive vibes all around!
I had planned a long day out. First thing in the morning Vittoria and I decided to go for a little mooch in Leigh-on-Sea.
I couldn’t of course resist to pop in Store Thirty3. As you know it’s my favourite boutique. I wanted to treat myself to something nice and had no doubt that I would have found the perfect gift to get myself! Actually I got more than one thing! Lol!
We also got a lovely pair of trousers for Vittoria in Hoboken Kids that she adores so much - it’s so difficult to buy clothes for her, she’s so fussy! - and she wore them to go to London in the afternoon!
We then met up with my beautiful friend Lisa and had a stroll down to Old Leigh. The children played for a little while on the beach and we had a lovely chat catching up. Everything was blissful. ❤️
Early afternoon we got on the train and off to London, heading to the Natural History Museum. We had such a great time. We didn’t get to visit it all because we got there a bit late, but we will definitively go back. The children seemed to love it! Giulio loves the dinosaurs and Vittoria is so fond of anything like this.
Going back to the station we walked through Chelsea and we stopped in St. Luke’s Gardens. What a stunning garden with its colourful tulips!
I didn’t want that day to end. I was having such an amazing time, making memories with my family. And the sun was playing a great role in making this day so special.
We got home, I sat on the sofa, feet up and I was feeling the luckiest woman in the world!
What a beautiful day. I’m so glad I took the day off and got to spend it with such beautiful people! Thank you so much to all of you who made this possible! ☺️
